Pool Vacuums
We are going to purchase a pool cleaner/vaccum and were shopping around. Does anyone has any insight on a specific brand of pool vaccums? Polaris is a big brand but everyone says that it is quite expensive for the quality.
any comments are appriciated

I sell concrete swimming pools and sell the following:
Rayvac Auto pool cleaner

Works good, 75-80% of the pool. Only a few moving parts so it's also cheap, good for smaller free-form shaped pools under 700 sq. ft., uses exsisting pump pressure, can use an a Polaris 360 plumbing stub.
Polaris series
Polaris has been around forever. Works better- 80%+. Requires it's own pump for the 380 and up. 148 moving parts and fails more often. About twice as expensive as the Jandy product.
There are many others but these are by far the best sellers in my state. (MD)
