My new condo

So I decided to move closer to work and switch where I live. I found this place and my unit is right on the delaware canal. I can literally put a canoe or Jon boat right next to my door and in 1 minute be paddling in the canal. The place is 36 years old and is not in the flood zone. The area is gorgeous and the development is top notch. It is a second floor end unit with a brand new kitchen, fridge, microwave, garbage disposal, can opener & dishwasher. The kitchen cabinets still have the tags inside from the installation and the dishwasher still needs to be hooked up. The bathroom is tiled and with new countertops and my views are of the canal. I cannot be happier with my purchase.

Little wooden bridge over a small creek that runs into the canal

The bush needs cutting and my unit could use a powerwashing but that's what calling the association is all about.

View from the landing in front of my door.

Perfect spot for an outdoor plastic container for the mountain bike and a jon boat or canoe.

Living room is 18 X 18 Dining Room is 10 X 10 and Kitchen is 10 X 10. I love the breakfast bar cutout and glassrack. I also love the natural brick wall.

Real tile backsplash and butcher block counters. The recessed lighting is another upgrade and I love the mounted microwave. The stove will be replaced asap.

Bathroom has corian counter with upgraded faucet, sunken tub with brand new tile.

Bedroom has great views to the canal perfect for photography & is 15 X 17 (i believe)

This will be my new home for a while, i'll probably rent it out in a year or two. My first projects will be 3/4" Oak floors throughout the whole space and a new hydromassage tub w/ full tile in the bathroom.

The living room has loads of potential with the brick wall. I think opening up that wall to the kitchen and placing an island there with perhaps a sink in the island on one side and a bar on the other would really open the kitchen up and allow you to get even more usable space.

only if they don't stay still for his pictures

and no they usually aren't. stagnant water creates bug problems. only issue may be high humidity when it gets really hot.

I fear that, but it is running water. I'm hoping I do get tons of turtle shots, water moccasins, & they do stock the place with trout so I picture fishing from my doorstep what more could I ask for.

Yardley is like beaver cleaver land I love it. What really got my attention w/ this condo is the concept that I could wake up on a sat. morning grab a cup of coffee, jump in the boat and drift down the canal surrounded by nature. I can feel my blood pressure lowering already.

Any consolation we have those prices here too. I chose to go west and avoid them. `

Sweet. I love places with a waterview. Last place I lived was a condo on a river. I really miss the view sometimes...

The interior look good, but the location makes it seem like mosquito heaven which is a definite no no for me.

Hope it works out. One of my buyers was trying to go through Wells, bad experience with the loan originator. But if you already got that straightened out, you should be fine.

If you need help, holla. I presume you are taking a 5/1?
