Lawnmower leaking gas and won't start (Pics)

First thing. When I put gas in the mower, it leaks gas as pictured below (green arrow).
Stats: Husqvarna 5.5 HP (Briggs & Strat Motor)
It's also been in storage for 2 years. I'm clueless, but want to DIMyself

Thanks

Float is stuck.

Try pulling the carb apart and cleaning it out. May need to replace some gaskets or maybe the float.

I went to the Briggs and Stratton website, to do a little looking around. It's probably one of the things you listed, or a faulty needle valve. So I pulled off the carburetor and was going do an overhaul... uhhhh Let's just put it this way. I know jack shit about engines. So I took the carburetor into a lawnmower shop and they said they could do it for around $50 (new gaskets etc etc)-- maybe more if there are other problems. For the overhaul itself, B & S lists it as a 90 minute job. So I guess I'm getting a pretty good deal if I take it in to get repaired. As long as it doesn't exceed $100 I think I'm good to go. I might also add, I probably wouldn't have been able to figure out to put the damn thing back together

Thanks for the help.
