keep sofas, tables etc from moving and scratching tiles...?
So I have granite floor tiles in my new house and so far everything from the dining table to the sofas slide around a lot...what are my options. do they make rubber pegs of sort that I can affix to the legs...tia
You can buy pads from 3M. I forget what they're called though. The are really thick felt pads with a sticky back. You can by them in cuttable pads or they also make some with precut circles and what not. Just go to Home Depot or Lowe's. Walmart might even have them. We have them on every piece of furniture that's on the hardwood floors.
I think they're scuff marks, not actual scratches. They do make the plastic feet which can be nailed to the bottom of the furniture, or like others ahve said, go with the felt pads. If you go to home depot, they should be right next to each other in the hardware section.
+1. I have these on all my chairs/couches.
