Amazing transformation. I'll give you a call when I am ready to do mine.

Looks nice Kam! I'm hoping to do the kitchen after I recover from the bathroom reno. You really did have a heck of a nice shell to start with. Love the cook top, I'm very jealous. Unfortunately gas isn't available in my neighborhood. I know I could do a tank, but the kitchen is an open plan and the only wall that goes to the ceiling is across from the stove. Anyway, very jealous. Enjoy it!

don't worry i did the same... my bathroom reno was last year and we did the kitchen this year... you just need to take them one project at a time...

if i had a choice, the new oven would have been gas like the old... once you cook with gas, it is hard to go back to electric... as old looking the kitchen was, it was the reason i bought this house... i knew it had great bones and i could put some money and my time to make it look great...

if you want to install a tank you don't necessarily need a wall to ceiling to hide the line for the stove, you could go down into the floor/crawlspace if you don't have a basement... if that is a possibility... feel free to post pics of your setup for some ideas... i suck at design, but can def help with layout...
