you worked your ass off and you have had some tough times and have powered through them. I'm seriously happy for you.

I can't imagine it isn't all covered. His insurance will just go after the electrician's insurance to get reimbursed as much as they can.

All depends on the limits on the home owner's policy and the insurance of the electrician.............................

Looking good. How high off the floor did you mount the cabinets? I am working on a garage build and want finished walls but if you try and finish out from the block at the bottom you lose a good bit more interior space. Trying to decide if I want to do that way or on the floor.

12” exactly. Just enough room to store shit underneath still. Hung them up with a 2x4 under

This is because the fire sprinkler system is not connected to the house plumbing, its diverts from the main water line coming into the house from the street and has its own shut off valve. So when a disaster like this happens, peoples first instinct it to shut off the water, then panic is amplified when they do so its the water keeps russian. Best to go to your water meter and use a large pair of plyers to turn it off.

But everything I read says they are a bitch to then clean. I’d rather have leaks on the surface 😂

Looking good. Now all the cars fit in the garage?

What brand did you end up going with? Still researching and trying to decide.

yea, they all fit finally. Gonna add one more lift so that I can leave the two car garage open for kids shit. We’re slowly growing a large crazy cart collection

for lift I went with autolift from Best Buy auto supplies. They talked me out of the bendpak which saved me a few grand.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your total cost in for it? Looking on their website it seems like there are a bunch of options to choose from aside from the lift itself, what did you go with? How was the install? Did you DIY it? If not DIY, how much was the install and shipping? Really want to try and get this into the financial plan for next fiscal year lol. Oh the joys of having an accountant for a wife...

Interesting they talked you out of bendpak but not the first time I have heard people say that. Supposedly the quality has gone down some say. Interested in what reasons they gave you?

Bendpak is what I am leaning towards even though a bit more just cause of their 4post and 2 posts lift matchiong. Stupid reason I know as they won't even be in the same section of my garage.

install was $900. I did the option that came with ramps, casters, drip trays. I think $4700 total?

Awesome, thank you. Did the company you bought from do the install or did you have to find someone else to do it?
