Thought I would finally come home to a fixed AC today.
Came home to huge puddle of water in the closet. The new coil has condensation dripping...AAAAAND A solder point in the drain pan coming off the drain pan has a serious leak. I also noticed that managed to tip or break 3 shelves in the closet.
I called them and they are coming back tomorrow to look at and fix everything, they said they would reimburse for the cost of the shelves to get fixed.
They also said they noticed the breaker to the system isn't putting out the right amperage and they sending one of their electricians out tomorrow tomorrow to fix it, gratis.
So...One more day I guess...at least its cool out tonight. At least they are being cool about their mistakes.

That really sucks, and probably doesn't give you the warm fuzzies about the workmanship.
I really like the weather as it has been for the past few weeks-- pretty much perfect, except for a little wind every so often.
Unfortunately, heat rises from below, even on nice days.
Hope you get a breeze or cross-breeze with all the windows and sliding glass doors open, to the degree that can be done safely with the kids.
