How to clean the carb on a snowblower?

sorry guys, i need a dummy guide on how to clean out the carb on my toro snowthrower.... does anyone know where i can find it on the snowthrower?

its underneath that grey lookin box thing. The cover is usually held on by a wing nut. Underneath that is the carb.

ook so i dont have to take off the red cover.. the silver box is right under the choker? Just take off that nut, and the take the carb and clean it? With what? Just with a dry cloth?

This what I do when i clean the carbs of our lawnmower, I use paint brush and cup of regular gasoline solvent, and brush the grime after that wipe with cloth to get out some of the excess; this will take the grime out for sure. Or I think you can buy one of those choke cleaner at Pepboys...

damn... that carb cover is clean... nothing in it. what else can it be? It just doesnt want to turn over...

How old is the gas?
If you don’t have stabilizer in it and it is over 3-months old, dump it out and siphon some fresh stuff from your TL.

Also, pull the plug and make sure it’s clean and sparking.

english please... The gas is old as fuck, i tried to dump it all out, but i couldnt tip the snowblower over enough to get it out. Hmm, maybe i should dump it in the grass? Also what the hell is a siphon?

hahahahahahah

WELL... i learned alot today.I cleaned the carb, I changed the spark plug, i bought a pump to siphon the gas out of the snowblower and i even put new gas in. STILL DOESNT WANT TO WORK. i think the carb is blocked.


I didnt know how to do any of this till today. Thanks guys.
I think im high from all the gas though
