Help: Bathroom upgrade and cleaning

1. How to get rid of mold from the bathroom walls? It's not on caulk line or tiles but have grown over the paint near ceiling due to poor ventilation. I also need to find a good exhaust fan to put in. The current one is very small but do not know if a bigger one will go in place.

2. How difficult it is to install sliding shower doors above the tub? I'm good at doing handy jobs but have not done any installs like these. Local contractor quoted me $350.

Bleach should get rid of the mold.

Thanks. I read that bleach just bleaches the mold and does not get rid of it. I've tried it but it reappears. I guess I need to improve on the ventilation first.

The doors above a tub are simple.

Install the sides by screwing into the tile/stud, install the track and place the doors, install the top rail.

You can use zinsser its a mold & mildew proof paint.
You can goto your local home depot or lowes or any paint store and they will mix it with any color you choose. try to paint over what you have. Otherwise replace that specific section of drywall.

Some molds are a lot more toxic and dangerous than others, but the fact that you can actually see it through the walls (sometimes it's just behind the walls) means there's a big problem. Get rid of the mold! It's a health hazard. Get rid of the drywall (find out what's behind it--more mold?) and replace it!! Don't keep it and just repaint. Also, there's drywall specifically made for bathroom that should help with this problem in the future. Look into a product like that to replace it with. I believe it's water and mold resistant.

Use your own judgement though - I'm no handyman. Just going off what I've seen and heard.
