The engine! It's all that matters!
I have the same lawn mower, however, I change my oil every year and the air filter every two years.
Great running engine, isn't it?
Edit: Just noticed the Acura symbol. Nice.

Same with the Briggs & Stratton engine on my 10-year old Craftsman-- never changed the oil either, although I did change the spark plug once and occasionally clean the air filter, but it starts immediately and runs fine.
Still noisy though, so I recently bought a reel push mower for use by my kids on early weekend mornings.

This mower have been the best mower I've had so far! Starts every single time without any hesitation! I just love the look on people's faces when they saw the badge! Priceless!
Great mower for sure, I have a similar walk behind 22" mower. To some it might sound like an overkill but I sharpen the blade, change the oil, air filter and plug every year and mine is 6 years old. This year it wont be getting much use as I only need it to mow one side of the house that has steep gradient, for the rest of the property I upgrade to a JD Z425 ZTR
Went from 4 hour mow time down to 40 minutes.
