Did I Just Kill 5 Bunnies?

So, the family just found that we have 5 baby rabbits in my backyard. Of course I started playing with them. I think it's ok though. Im worried about the lawn mower though (even though they are in a hole).

Awww! Lucky guy! Currently, we have a robin sitting on a nest of three eggs in our backyard. At my old house, which backed onto a ravine, we had rabbits, pheasants, red fox, deer, and groundhogs.

Don't disturb them unless you find the mom isn't taking care of them. I wouldn't cut the grass near the hole either for the first little while, as the noise and/or vibrations might bother them. Just my thoughts though, don't know if there's really any danger in doing so.

My dog left a baby rabbit on my front porch a few years ago. It lived for a few days but died later on. And I used to have two pet rabbits when I was little.

That is all

Rabbit meat is very healthy and low in fat. Wait til they get a bit bigger though.

And yes I'm serious.

That has nothing to do with being Italian. It has everyting to do with being fawked up.

Lets just stay any strange story I've ever heard surrounding rodent eating has involved an Italian, so I'm pretty convinced its less of a coincidence than you might think

A story from my Childhood...

I had 2 rabbits...one was white, one was black. They were named Nosey and Blackie. I got them from my portuguese Uncle Roger.

I loved them and hugged them and they got big too... The bigger they got the smeller they got, and one day, my mom had all she could take from them and gave them back to Uncle Roger.

Uncle Roger must have felt bad for me, so he invited me over for Sunday dinner. I ask, "So what are we having ??" "Chicken" Uncle replied.

I didn't notice that the chickens had 4 legs and no wings even tho' I like wings, but it was a good meal... When it was over my Uncle said that I raised them well... "How'd did you like dinner, 'cause you just ate Nosey and Blackie"

...just like chicken

I figured it was either that or sitting around the house in a full track suit making the sauce for Sunday's huge pasta dinner
