Bought a house!!

Well i closed on the 19th and moved in the 20th. I'm very happy with my new investment. I figured ive been throwing away my money for years on rent, might as well spend it on somthing thats mine. Its a slip foyer 4 bed 3 bath on 3 acres right on the Chessapeake bay!! Love it! Its 10 years old, new kitchen, bathrooms, hard wood floors, newly finished basment with extra bed room and office, foyer. Got a hell of a deal on it. House sold for 355k in 07, got forclosed, guy remodeled it and i bought it for 269k with no closing costs.

Basically, you enter the house and you have two choices, go downstairs or go upstairs.

I almost bought one, but I was outbid. It had the master bedroom, kitchen, and livingroom upstairs, and 2 bedrooms, laundry room, and a family room downstairs. The livingroom overlooked the entry. It was actually pretty cool.

Yes. Most of the land is wooded. So alittle more about the house. ( im gonna take some better pics today). But like i said it has 4 bed rooms, one a master with dual sinks, jacuzzi, stand up shower, french doors, 2 other bed rooms up stairs, new country kitchen, with all new stainless steel appl. Big back deck built up the the second level. Down stairs has 1 full bath, bed room, office and foyer for the back entrance, with tiled floor and ready room, theres also a storage room and laundry room in the basmet.

Oh i also got a VA loan, so no money down, and i got a really realy good interest rate! 4.5% fixed for 30 years, but i'm on a 13 month payment plan so should knock 10 years off that. The land needs some work, i need to remove a bunch of dead shrubs, etc but nothing i can't handle with a little elbow greese. I'm about .25 miles from the beach. I want a garage like no other, but could'nt pass up this house, so for now' i'm going to build a shed.

Nice house bro!

1.) Get a garage. You'll need them up in Maryland, trust me. I used to live up there.
2.) Pool table.

Post some interior pics!

I've only heard of raised ranch or bilevel.

Oh, and I would definitely build a garage.

The technical term is "split-level" or "tri-level" home
