for all you home owners or contracters

So i have 2 windows that let WAY too much sunlight in. The main issues is that they are high up. So blinds are not reasonable, plus they'll make it really ugly.

Is there anything that lasts outdoor with the same blind concept? I looked a bit online and all I can find are bamboo stuff but it doesn't look like it would last.

Or is there something cool and affordable for indoors?

This is my ghetto mock up of one of the windows, the other one is basically on the other side facing each other (kinda like looking in the mirror).

Replace with an "in the window blinds" pane?

why are blinds not reasonable? are you actually trying to be able to have the option of letting all the light in? There are more options then just ugly mini blinds.

OP's window shapes are trapezoidal and assymetric, if the dimensions in post #1 are correct.

The only things I can think of offhand are heavy film tint outside the windows or some sort of awning/overhang (which may not be practical, attractive or compliant with community appearance codes).

Blinds or curtains would be offset and look weird. Increase the tint.

you could put up curtains and even install the rods at diagonals. just make sure whatever material you are hanging has the top part secured to the rod, so it doesnt slide down diagonally.
