*Looking for input on moving to a new state*
I didn't know where else to post this so I'll try it here.
I'm thinking of moving to a new state. I used to live in central FL and then to Tallahassee, FL. Currently I reside in CO, where I have been for the past 9 years. I like it here but I miss the beach. I considered moving back to FL but the hurricanes are scaring me off a bit these days. Now I'm considering the northeast coast or the northwest coast. I've heard OR is a beautiful place to live but I'm also hearing MD might be pretty nice too. I'm the kind of guy who likes piece and quiet and I get buy just fine in a small secluded town with all the amenities, pizza delivery included! I'd like to hear what any of you guys have to say about where you live. Only if you live near a beach/coast though please. The need for the ocean is calling me back. I would especially like to hear from those who live in OR and MD. Thanks in advance for all the input guys and gals!

I grew up in Southern MA and I'm still here. The winters are starting to wear on me, so I've though about FL (probably the only state out side of New england that I've spent alot of time in). I'm a east coast guy, so I wouldn't think of moving west of the missippissi unless an awesome oppurtunity presented itself.
People say that the Carolina are nice too, if you want to avoid the hurricanes in FL
