I wonder how old/doctored that pic is. Ronnie's started looking worse in recent years IMO, his growth hormone gut is just awful.

Lee Priest looks incredible too. Most people don't realize that the veiny/striated look is only for competition. It's AMAZINGLY difficult to get down to that bodyfat percentage (about 3-5%). Nobody but extreme genetic freaks can stay that lean for longer than a few days without losing a ton of muscle.

well ya, you work out and your body grows and grows but your head stays the same size That said, I'm fairly sure that image has been modified. The body is ronnies, but it has been enlarged slightly, for effect.

It's not just his head, it's his shoulders up to that point, too. They're even a different color (at least in the photo) than the rest of his body. Looks like some skinny guy poking his head out of a rubber suit or something.

of course they are. They are walking pharmaceutical plants. They take drugs to get big, drugs to get ripped, steroids, hormones, etc ,etc. You name it. THe human body does not look like that naturally.

this is Dexter Jackson who came in 4th at last year's Mr. Olympia... though this pic. isn't that recent... it was the only decent one I could find that would let me download... anyway, his abs were absolutetly amazing last year... (BUT not in this pic.) I think he's got potentials to come in 1st in Mr. "O" ...not this year, or even next year... 2007? I think he could've place 3rd if it hadn't been that stupid thing they did last year, where the crowd got to cheer, it was partially decided based on how loud it was between contestants... and it just became more, or less a popularity contest... anyway, he'll "come up." BUT I think the person next in line... is Jay Cutler (who came in 2nd last year).

yeah, it's always been politics... but it's more than ever... I don't know if you watch last year's show... they did that thing... where the top... (I think) 8 guys got to "challenge" each other.... they'd call someone out... and call a pose (they got to pick)... then it was up to the crowd to cheer... and they based it on how loud it was or how high the meter was... sounded like a good idea at first... but it was obvious that Ronnie had a hugh loyal group of fans in the audiance... which gave him the edge... yeah, he was big.. don't get me wrong... but there were certain guys that had better body parts than Ronnie and still lost the challenge... (the guy I mentioned Dexter Jackson had better abs... and he challenged Ronnie on that pose... and lost, I sat there going... this is just B.S.)

Pretty lean yes. Huge I'm not so sure. Everyone looks bigger when they're flexing with weights in their hands. Where's the abs though? He's lean enough to be showing some good vascularity, why aren't his abdominals showing?

actually, I've met the guy. he was kinda cocky, then again, he was about 2 months out from Mr.0 05' Usually they get very cranky from dieting and training among "other" things.
