Lower back is killing me...advice needed...

So I obviously messed up my lower back two days ago lifting (not sure what I did), but now my back has been aching for 2 straight days. Advil has become my best friend. What do people recommend? Should I go to an acupuncturist, massage therapist or chiropractor?

Keep in mind, today is my last day at my current job and I will be starting a new job on Monday. So I have my current health insurance until tonight and then I won't have insurance until May. I would like to get this fixed tonight...

I stopped by GNC the other day and just for fun sat in one of these chairs with a homedics massagers. I seriously wanna buy one now. Those things massage the whole back. Look it up or go to a local store that sells one and try it out.

sleep with pillows under your knees to keep your back straight, bend with your knees, and try to stretch, otherwise go see a doctor.

At least see your physician, a chiropractor would probably be better.

It's not a muscle pull, right? If it is, give a week and it should be better. I know when I pull a muscle in my upper back, it'll take about a week to heal.

Also, try using heat, but the chiropractor would be your best bet.

We're you doing bicep curls?

It's most likely a muscle strain, but why not visit the doctor before your last day to be safe?

Alleve works wonders. Get a massage or a new bed too.

Or one of the $4,400 dollar ones at Brookstone.
