How to get rid of that belly/lovehandles?!
Uh ya so here it is:
I'm 24. 6'0". I played soccer my whole life up until college and through college drank a lot and lifted weights (mostly upper body, not much lower body at all). By the time I graduated I weighed ~185lbs, granted a lot of it was upper body muscle mass. My upper body, chest and arms were pretty big but I still had skinny legs (have had them my whole life).
When I graduated what I wanted to do was to lose some upper body mass because it was kinda disproportionate with my skinny legs lol and get rid of my stomach.
Since then (now about 2 years later) - I drink less (only on weekends), eat healthier (most of the time), I run 3-4 miles everyday after work and do about 50 push ups a day (have noticed weight loss, now weight ~164lbs).
Basicaly, everything is on track and like I want it EXCEPT the fact that my belly and lovehandles seem to not go away. It seems like my legs will literally turn to toothpicks before my lovehandles go away lol. So, what do you all recommend? Will sit-ups or crunches help?
Sorry for the rambling if i did some

You cannot spot reduce. It doesn't work.
Cut calorie intake
Reduce alcohol consumption
Drink lots and lots and lots of water - water retention in men is typically in that area
Strenghten your lower back
do more cardio

6' and 164lbs??? DAMN! That seems a little on the light side doesn't it?
Maybe you should stop running so much and some some squats/lunges. Working the larger muscle groups burns a ton of energy... although squats make the easiest tasks a pain in the ass... literally.
Also, crunches/situps will only make your belly look bigger as it is strengthening your core muscles...

^Seriously. I'm 5'10" and 165 and have defined obliques. I'm not sure if you need to cut weight as much as work on your legs. Do squats, lunges, dead lifts and take it from there. Working large muscle groups like legs will be beneficial in your workouts and hopefully provide more upper and lower body symmetry.

Do the gym membership! Haha get a subscription to a fitness magazine too so you can always switch up your routine and "shock" your body.
The key to burning calories is maintaining a higher heart rate... I think. If can start with some cardio to get your heart rate up, then do some supersets or something. You don't need to lift heavy weights... just need to keep moving. You can try doing body weight exercises for now and see if that yields results. Gymnasts don't lift any weights and they are JACKED!
Anyway, yes, eat healthy. I could never "diet" but I try to eat healthy, at least on the weekdays. I'm 5'11'' and about 175lbs. I'm not jacked or ripped by any means... but I work out to feel healthy and energetic, not to look like a porn star. Haha
Regardless of your method, good luck!! Haven't really been posting in the same threads as you lately...

Your legs will get stronger with air squats, lunges, burpees, plyometrics (box jump). None require a gym membership. They might not catch up to your larger upper body, but hasn't that decreased in size since you don't lift anymore?
