this is my first time into this thread, and I have to commend everyone who's posted thus far. This is a great example of how good this forum can be.

congrats MasterP on the weight loss, seriously impressive stuff! keep it up, and might I suggest cycling once you've lost a few more pounds, it's truly the best way to stay in shape IMO

I, too, will start posting weekly results until I reach my goal of 130 and 10% body fat.

btw, I'm 5'6.

If I am legit?

First you have to remember someone as big as me ,is going to lose weight really fast. But it has slowed down.

Also, as soon as my pictures come back i will be posting them.

Before and After, of course.

Though, my proof, is in my pants. Going from a 54 to a 40 feels damn good.

Thanks, Masterproge

Awesome! Keep it up, and keep hitting the weight training. You'll be glad you did. Over 100 lbs is very impressive.

Flax Oil had been probably, the biggest help to me, as far as weight lifting.

I take 9 flax oil gelcaps daily. Figuring how much I weigh, and how much you weigh. I would guess you would need to take 6 daily.

Trust me, flax oil is not pricey, and it helps so much.

I am trying to get my losses stable.

Instead of losing 4 lbs this week, and then losing 2 lbs the next. Then 9 lbs the then.

So, I am trying some new things, to see how well they work out.

Though, in general me being 6'3'', has helped alot.

99% of people would never believe I weigh that.

Most guess around 220.

So, I've more or less changed my goal weight to 220, instead of 180.

Something tells me, I don't think I would look healthy at 180.

Thanks, Masterproge

Congrats again man you're doing great.

I agree about your target weight - I think 180 is very light for someone that tall. I'm a lil over 6'2'' and dropped to about 180 back almost 2 years ago when I had mono - I looked like a fucking mummy I was so thin. I mean it really depends on how you're built though, some people being lanky, others a lot thicker.

Either way, keep it up

Troubles

I am going to have to stop my weight loss.

My excess tissue\skin , is becoming a major problem.

And, I can't handle it. Nor do I know what to do.

Thanks for all your help!

There's no easy fix to excess skin caused by dramatic weight loss.

You shoudl consult a physician to see what surgical options are feasible for you.

I mean, the excess skin is terrible.

Whats worst is it just sorta appeared, as I never noticed it until recently.

But, Its really bad.

Not sure what else to do, but gain weight back. Because I don't have thousands of dollars for it to be removed.

I didn't have these kinda problems I am having, when I was heavy.

I've done weights since the begining.

It has not helped with the excess tissue.

I would have never lost this weight, if I had known that it would look this bad.

Never.

As least, when I was fat I looked like a normal fat guy.

Now I look like a freak.

Don't gain the weight back on purpose.

Do you have insurance? I know some non-elective type cosmetic procedures are covered.

dude, don't give up.

You may feel like a freak, but i guarantee you look a million times better than you used to!!!

Your skin will tighten back up, i have a friend who lost over 130lbs, and he felt the same way, but eventually after about a year of being skinny, he's tighted right back up, and he didn't have to gain weight to do it.

With your massive losses, it may well be a surgery that is covered by insurance. I know you don't have ins now, but is there potential in your future to land a job that has coverage you could take advantage of?

stay strong man.

Astro is correct.

Your skin may not ever "fit" perfectly like a fashion model, but it will improve itself. It just takes time...same as losing the weight took time. You're far helathier with extra skin than extra fat for the time being.

hitt burns alot of fat, but burns alot of muscle as well, slow cardio at 3.3 mph with incline of 10.0 for 20 minutes is ideal, keep muscle and lose that fat
