Good gym, damn good trainer if you could've afforded him. I'd drop Lafitness if there was anything like that around me. Got move out of the boondocks..

Maybe I'll build up a little so I can train with him...even if only for a week. It'd be cool to say that I did.

Second session was today....pushed myself so hard I had to go throw up.

Then I went back and finished up the workout (was near the end already).

Sound like me today. I did legs and didn't have enough left in me to finish off with calves. Only I left went home, ate, came back and did 15-20 mins of just calf work in my normal clothes. Never done that before.

Threw up again today in the middle of leg workout. 2 out of 4.

This guy doesn't fuck around. I'm physically beat, but it feels good to know what a intense workout truly feels like.

I'm thinking about doing a week by week picture thing.

Light cardio (walking) at the beginning and end of workout. Usually do around a mile before and after. But the rest is weight training.

I think it's just at a level of intensity I've never been at. Between the relatively high volume on some things, but also going higher weight on others....it's draining. Nothing like I've done before.

Doing back again today, so we'll see if I can hold it together. I'm doing deadliest though, so....

Wow. That's crazy. I've never come close to feeling sick with just weight training, although I've never had anyone push me to do it at any increased intensity. All my throwing up usually comes with running. That sounds good though.

I don't think I mentioned, but this is a "warehouse" style gym. Not very big. But in a small warehouse complex.

No A/C.

Just a few of the really large floor standing fans and they usually keep the two large "garage" doors on one side open. And this is Texas.

Being in DFW, I know the heat also contributed.

A good power lifting routine can make you throw up. Imagine going for a 3 rep or less max on heavy deadlifts or squats.

When you throw up, you are having high lactic acid in you. You get this when you don't rest long enough. Also, try eating the right kind of carbohydrates before you hit the gym.
