Shit adds up over a hot afternoon in the sun...figure 10 beers at a picnic or going out...even light beer is 100 cal a pop ~ 1000 cals for nothing.

 

for nothing? about you, but i always get something out of it. well, besides getting fat.

i drink a lot of beer, maybe 90% of the time light beer. but people ask me why i drink so much light beer if it doesn't taste as good as regular beer. i did the math and got a rough estimate:

20 beers/week x 52 weeks = 1040
1040 x 40 calories saved by drinking light beer = 41,600
41,600 x 90% = 37,440 calories
math for fun:
37,440 / 2,500 calories per day = 14.98 days

so what about those 15 days i've saved? they come in handy during family gatherings, especially during holidays.

 

Yep 1000 empty calories... doesn't get much worse that that

A light beer or a drink (gin/Vodka/Rum/Jack/etc. and Diet soda) will cost you about 100 calories. Compare that to a drink like a margarita or Long Island Iced Tea which is about 500 calories!!!

alcoholics deny they have a problem; i don't.

i only drink when i'm with others or when i'm alone.
