I went to Big 5 the other night... Boy does that place suck.

I'll have to stop by a Marshalls today. Thanks...

Anywhere else? I figure the malls would have decently cool stuff but charge like 30$ for a t-shirt.

wow... I haven't bought workout clothes in forever... I still have t-shirts from year's ago that I still wear, as long as they're not ripped and falling apart, I'll keep using them.

If you're not in a rush workout clothes will usually go on sale at the end of a season and then you can pick up some crazy deals, also going to outlet stores like the Nike Outlet, Adidas Outlet etc can net you some really good prices on new stylish workout clothes (donno how many of those you guys have out in LA)

I work out in Finishline shorts
Shirts I get for free for donating blood FTW!

I would say TJMax or Marshalls

As for looking cool = teh gay. Unless working out is your job (ie trainer) I don't think anyone cares what you are wearing.

I go to the gym enough times where I actually care how I look.

I feel better wearing nicer stuff.

Besides, I've been wearing the same shit for a while now.

LOL am I the only one that has an excess of t-shirts & shorts??

I must have like 15 pairs of shorts and easily over 30 t-shirts... takes up so much space but I get around to using them all... (also means I don't have to do my laundry as often lol)

Agree with this guy (or girl). Just go with basic Hanes t-shirts with some athletic shorts + underarmor compressions. New Balance shoes and store brand lowcut socks. thats how i roll 4 times a week.

Not cheap, but well-designed and wears like iron - underarmour products. I have their shirts and workout shorts, comfortable, light, nonbinding, wick moisture. Decent enough that I wear some of their gear slopping around on Saturdays. Can buy some of their stuff in some sports shops, directly online or from goldmanbros on line as well. the latter have great service, great delivery speed, and virtually all of the Underarmour lineup.

You can always find name brand stuff on sale at "Sports Authority", just look around. Best time to go is in Jan/Feb when they're clearing out last year's stuff.

For NB shoes, check out joesnewbalanceoutlet.com
