Hello all... its been a long time since i've been active but deployments here there and different countries and what not. Anyways my adventures landed me in good ol' Oahu hawaii. I'm to be re-united with Black Beauty by end of the month (pray that boat has a tail-wind) and i'm in need of some members that have experience Oahu. Like where are some reputable shops paint shops, wheel shops stuff like that. Also i would rather think the car scene is big here but so far not much... not sure if i'm driving to the right areas or what. I have looked into the regional board for hawaii... but its pretty dead. so just tossing a line for the masses. Thanks for any help!

Ive been here about two months and all I have really seen are beat up Civics and Integras. What branch are you in?

yea man same here. i seen a few nice rides but mostly military. I haven't seen much yet on the island so i'm not passing judgement. Hey bro any advice on recon stickers? lots of people are saying too many different things and i'm not even sure what its about.

Ah sorry I am so late on this I rarely get on and the HI forums are so dead. Anyway I didnt need recon as I only have A-Spec kit on my TL but you could try going down to the self autocare center on Ft Shafter flats. Those guys really only walk around the vehicles and then give the sticker. It is right beside the Firestone. You live on Hickam?
