Ditto. I went in for an oil change today and they were prepping a 09 TL Tech, they had a base TL on display. I sat in the Tech car, the interior is nice, still hate the clutter of buttons and the checp navi knob. Also the Navi hump turns me off. The car is not as bad as I thought fomr the outsode, BUT I thought it was heidious in pics, so in person it just does NOTHING for me!! The styling is all over the place and the sotck 17 inch wheels and tires don;t fit the car. The tires are a tad taller than the 3G and on a 17 inch wheel it makes the wheel look too small for the car, the Tech model shoudl have 18's for sure. I will go drive one for giggles, but don't see myself buying one. The navi screen is beautiful!! But it appears to be around the same size as the 3G maybe a tad bigger, but so much further away. Looks like I fell in love with my 3G Type-S even more today! I also don;t like the way the hood is lower in the middle then the sides, looks weird.

Can you load songs onto the HDD from MP3 discs? If not, lack of changer is a serious deficiency.........

I do not beleive so. I think their thinking is you use the CD to load to HD and other than that use a thumb drive or IPOD to lug music. Ironically I have avoided an ipod or MP3 palyer all this time becasue 99% of my listening is in the car and with 6 DVD-A's loaded with music no real need for much more.

On thing I thought was nice is the 4G steering wheel is smaller and beefier and the leather on it is very good quality, better than 3G. Very nice look and feel!!

I would have to say that in light colors, the new TL looks worse in person.

Interesting. I just saw a silver one pull out of Rosenthal Acura in MD, and I thought it looked good. All the extra chrome and the shield blend in with the paint. I was surprised to find that the front looked good to me, and it was the trunk I didn't really care for. I expected just the opposite. I would like to see one without the lip spoiler.

Rosenthal emailed me yesterday to come in for a test drive, and I hope to do that tonight. I'll report back with my impressions.
