Foot Well Light...

I am going to try this now and the images are gone from this post.

https://acurazine.com/forums/fourth-...ighter-783070/

The drivers side seems easy - it's like taking out the panel to replace a fuse. There is a little 'handle' you can twist to release the it.

The passenger side doesn't have the same handle but has a deep handle in the back. How hard can you pull it? How do you remove the passegner panel easily without breaking it.

I am just going to drill a hole in front of the light in it to see if the wheel wells light up more at night time.

THANKS!

Thanks justnspace - I found these images. It seems like he took good ones of driver side but not of the passenger side. I can will attempt to pull it carefully.

Don't drill those covers! Spend the ~$20 and do it properly with clear lenses!!!!

I spent way too much time figuring that stuff out for people.

I put holes in one of my sets waiting for my clears. Now I have blue, red and Amber. Still need to put the clear caps in. Love the red footwells. Gotta try out the amber soon.

TheMuffinMan, thanks for all the part numbers and pics! So if I want the blue led's with clear lens, I can either buy 34760-TL0-J11 from the TSX Wagon (blue LED light w/ CLEAR lens) OR 34760-TL0-G11 - Amber Light (clear lens) - 2011-2013 Acura TSX and swap the lenses around correct?

TheMuffinMan, can you confirm part number too? I am thinking 34760-TL0-J11 so I will have a blue spare LED.

WOW - I just installed the clear lens and it's pretty cool. It makes a HUGE difference. I decided to counter sink drill a 'smaller' hole on the driver side lens (stock black) and used the clear "plastic" container to cut a smaller circle as a home made "lens cover" over it. I was hoping to make the driver side well a little less bright. This is a very easy mod!

so even with the TSX replacement clear covers drilling is required, or you just skipped on the clear lenses and drilled the original one?

TSX clear is clear so no drilling is required. I drilled the driver side and used the TSX on the passenger side. I put a clear plastic cover (anything clear/plastic/thin that can be cut with scissors) on the drivers side.
