The GM agreed to cut me a check for $2,500. Not exactly $2,500 in total savings for me since I will still pay sales tax on the original sales price on the contract. But overall I feel better about this, as the discount is more in line with what others have been reporting. The vehicle may be new, but the bad economy is also a factor. A lot of people are still out of jobs and uncertain about their economic future. So the pie has shrunk for dealers in the luxury/premium car market. So only those who are willing to deal will sell a lot of cars.
I can't wait to get my new ride!

I can't believe I drove an automatic for the past 3 years! What have I been doing with my life?! ARgh!
Anyhoo, 6 speed black on black in all it's glory. Grin on my face is had to wipe off, especially after the drive in to DT Toronto.
Not a great pic, since I was sooo excited picking it up. But I promise to post more pics this evening once I'm done with work.

front bumper
What is right below each of the headlights on the front bumper? Are they headlight washers? None of the pictures on the acura website show the TL with those things on the bumper.

The car I have on order might not be here until Tuesday or Wednesday. The white with ebony advanced is kind of rare though it seems that the advanced itself is in short supply

My sales guy just called with another update; he is still waiting for the truck to pull-up at the dealership. My car was already on its way to the dealership when I ordered it. So that is why I am able to get my SHAWD with Advanced Package so early. I guess I got lucky!
