Difference between Honda and Acura parts?

Like soniczoom5, one of my turn signals light assembly got cracked by a rock (hopefully), instead of being shot at while on I-290. ;-) The part I am looking for is 33350-TK4-A11. Via Google, I came across HPU's site, and the same part number for Honda (also a left front turn light assembly) costs $35.46, while the Acura counterpart with the same description costs $55.32. Knowing how Honda and Acura share lots of parts, do you think this turn light assembly is interchangeable between Honda and Acura?

Do you suppose the Honda part will come with a new bulb in it like the Acura part?

Even if it doesn't, it's a 2 dollar bulb

The only Acura parts that I'm aware of is fluids. You put an "a" on the end of the part number and it has an Acura label. Other than that, they're all Honda parts.

Something I will add, in some instances you're not able to order the part via Honda if it's an Acura part number. Even if they're identical. I've found that some of the websites list the prices and must have some formula to calculate the price.

The turn signal assembly is not used in any Honda vehicle and is specific to the TL. So you could try to order it but my assumption is it will be cancelled.

Good point. I've also had this happen to me.

This is interesting, because I finally tried to order it from HondaPartsUnlimited. They sell the same part number for both Honda ($35.46) and Acura ($55.32). If I place the Honda part in my cart first, followed by the Acura part, both parts in my cart come out to $55.32 each. But if I clear out my cart and reverse the order, both parts in my cart come out to $35.46 each. But I don't need two of them, so I remove the Honda part in the hopes that I can get the Acura part for $35.46. Nope. The cart updates the price of the Acura part to $55.32. LOL

Since their shipping is more than HondaPartsNow, I bought it from the latter site. Let's see if my order gets canceled.

Yep, it's weird. I've even called Majestic or Bernardi and was like, "Look, we both know the little baggie is going to say HONDA on it, why am I paying $15 more for the 'Acura' part" nothing they can do though. Curious to see what they end up doing for ya.

I know for sure as Reorge said, you can buy trans fluid (ATF) cheaper from Honda and it's the same stuff used in a TL.
I would not use alternate brand ATF in an Acura though, although many folks on here seem to believe in doing so.
