Anyone find all the warning beeps on the tl as annoying as i do. I'd love to disable the screeching noises i get when i walk away from the car when it's running. At least acura should have given us the option of lowering the volume of these sounds.

Well it'snot as annoying as the voice in the TSX, and they want to make sure you know that you have the key and are walking away from the vehicle.

I think that you can adjust the volume on the MID...

Let me know if you find the way to reduce or kill the beep when walking away with the car running. I figure one can always put a relay tied to ignition so it disconnects the beeper when running, but will enable the beeper for the regular door lock beep (assuming it's the same beeper as I think it's from the rear of the car). Pretty simple mod..

Hate the beep! If your too stupid to remember to turn off your car when you get out of it, they should take your drivers license away.

I think it may be under keyless set up on the MID. There should be an alarm volume which you can set to high, med, or low. Not positive, but I think I saw that last time I changed a few things.

annoying a small number of TL owners is much better than having idiots leaving the car on overnight and possibly killing themselves in the process..

much like the seat belt chime, safety first.
