It's very quiet when driving on the highway too. You don't hear the wind buffeting anymore. You hear the road via tire contact. Thank goodness I have switched my MXMs to a summer only tire. I suspect 2012-2014 models would be even quieter (nvh).
I got all my parts from Amazon...it is listed on the first page. Make sure to get the 'small' d shape.
P shape follows the curve of the back door. You may want to make 2 pieces. I don’t know how well it will hold.
D shape on back door doesn’t go all the way down.
Back Door view of Front Door P Shape. When mounting, make sure it’s right on the bottom flat edge. In James21_h post, it looks like front door is using a P Shape + Z Shape.
P shape on back door. Again, I don’t know how well this is going to hold. I would re-do as 2 pieces without curve.
Because the front door is really long, I would probably get an extra P shape to redo the bottom next spring.

Nicely done!! When I did my driver's door, I didn't put it on the bottom edge so it left a small gap. That's why I use Z on P to close up that gap. The other 3 doors, I learnt my lesson and put the P on the bottom edge and it worked perfectly!
And like you experienced, my car is really quiet on freeway and city roads!! I would say pretty much the same quietness I experienced when I had TLX for a day!
Well, the Z shape is definitely a PITA on the front door edge. I thought I had got it on pretty well, but it was sticking out too far, and would scrape along the foam padding that's inside the front fender area, so I ripped it back out.
I also decided to go with a D shape on the angled portion of the back door rather than a P shape. I didn't really like how it looked with the P shape flaring out when the door is open. I know the D shape may not seal as well, but I'm okay with there being a small air gap. That should help out with the air pressure issue that some other people mentioned in this thread. The front door has an air gap in the same area as well.
Well, so much for that. The P shapes fell off in 2 days. I cleaned the area with WD-40 then alcohol too. I suspect that the "3M" tape is not actually 3M, as to be expected with most parts that come straight out of China. It's not nearly as sticky as the super strength body molding 3M tape that I have.
Mine are still intact so far. I will check in it again to see how it looks next week.
I actually ripped the P shape off the bottom of the door and re-stuck in the lower lip of the doors. I did in the late evening and left it in the hot sun the entire day. I park my car outside so I am assuming the tape may have been heated a bit to stick on even better.
For the Z shape on the front door, I started from the top and put in down the side of the door. I stuck it from the top and pulled the sticker backing off from top to bottom. The trick was to get your fingers to pull the backing off from above and below the 2 hinges. I also did that part last to get a feel for it.

Just to clarify, did you re-attach it to the green line in this pic? I stuck mine to the red line (as far down as you can go on the door), and it did not stick very well at all. I did notice when I was cleaning it, large amounts of black stuff was wiping off, and would not stop wiping off. It looks like where the green line is, it's a lot cleaner, and appears to be body paint. The red line is hard to explain, but it just didn't feel right.

Mine is right below the green line. Red line is too low so every time you shut the door, the P shape would hit the body structure and it will not stay there for long!
I accidentally bought the D shape instead of the small D shape so I used it on my trunk. I left gaps for drainage and now there is a thunk in the trunk too.
That looks pretty nice! Although, I think that entire area is meant for draining to the center V portion of the trunk, or at least that's what I've seen personally during heavy rain. There should be a gap between the rear windshield and the trunk that carries the water all around the trunk, but maybe the big D shape is big enough to allow water to flow through it.

I was able to do this to my 13 TL and gotta say it helps with the wind noise a lot. The Z shape is the hardest but I have a small hand so that helps Now there is a solid thunk when I close the doors. My wife is able to tell a difference too. There is still some tire noise but that's expected. I will fix that with a new set of tires soon.
I still have a lot of Z shape available. I am thinking to apply it to the bottom, on the frame, where it meets the P shape of the doors. Hopefully that will keep some of the tire noise out. Any thoughts on that? The down side I can think of is water might stuck there and that will create mold ...
I would get new tires first before 'wasting' the stuff so far, I am half way through winter and it's still holding up. FYI, I am running Continental DW for summer and I like them. I think they are quieter than the MXM Pilots that came stock on the 18's. The newer Acura have 2 things that help with sound: Active Noise Cancellation and Tire Nose Dampening Technology

Looks like u have conti dws06 tires now, any reason you are switching to as3? I have found the 06s to be better than as3 imo.
I did this but used Z seals on the front and rear doors. Doing it over a couple days, it seems like the upright ones make the most difference.. From the front you can see that the door jamb is completely sealed. Works really well too, I can barely hear any wind noise now.

I needed new tires and Costco had a sale ($70 rebate + 1 cents installation). I love the dws06 drove them for more than 50k miles (got 55k out of them).
We'll see how these AS3+ do, so far I just passed the break-in period.
I mentioned that I had a TLX loaner for a day and noticed the car had triple seals on all its doors. So I went ahead and applied an additional layer to all the doors except the front passenger door for an experiment. I noticed the wind noise is definitely reduced when the car is running on high way especially on the newly paved portion. Since I left the front passenger door untouched, my wife and I noticed the mind noise is a bit more noticeable on that side. Here are some pics I took this morning. I spent a total of $30 and one hour of my time to do it. Maybe it's just our mind but we do think it worked. But did not help much on the road noise.... I guess I need a new set of tires. Still running on the OEM crap with 29K miles on the meter.

I see in everyone's pictures that the seals are installed to the door frame instead of the door's edges (where they would be more hidden) with the exception of the bottom and front of the door, apparently.
Is there a reason for that, or is it just to make install easier?
On my car, I have placed the rubber seals on the VERY bottom of the edge of the door (Front/Back). If you ever have an issue with the adhesive over time, I have used "double sided" gorilla tape.

I think what I was missing is most people are putting the seal on the door and on the door-frame... So when the door closes the seals sandwich each other?? Or maybe not...
I'm going to experiment by "dry" installing (no adhesive) to see if I can achieve the desired results without sticking anything to the car jambs (just along the edges of the actual door indention, like you did). If that is snug enough, then I'll move on with this method.
On the trunk and hood, I may stick stripping to both sides (if it fits like that) and get some adhesive pads/mats too. Then follow the Youtube videos...
