My TSX came with red coolant
Guys, this is my first post.
i just took delivery from the dealership of a 2006 tsx with 88km from the dealer. When i popped the hood, the coolant reservoir has red (or is it pink?) coolant in it (i know nowadays this doesn’t mean much anymore), when it should’ve been the honda blue 2.
The reservoir content seems to be low, and I’d like to change the coolant anyways, but have been super busy and have little time right now, so 2 questions for all of you:
1) anybody knows which red coolant I can add to it in the meantime, preferably stuff sold at walmart or Canadian Tire (they are closer to my house)
2) do any of you have any tutorials on how to a flush and fill on this car fairly easy/quick?

I agree... so any input to my second question, on how easy or complicated a drain and fill on this car is?

Its easy.
Drain the radiator.
Drain the block (buy a new drain washer)
Refill. Bleed.
The bleed part is what causes people headaches. But just follow the factory manual.
Perhaps the question is, "where can I get the factory manual"
At a dealer. Or maybe at Rockauto. Or online at hondahookup, if it still exists.
What's wrong with pink coolant? Did you buy from a Toyota dealer? As long as its coolant meant for an aluminum engine, you're probably fine.
Don't use tap water to flush the system, BTW. It will ruin your entire life for generations.

Honda block drains are usually on the back of the block (exhaust side).
Its a 19mm hex. looks like a bigass drain plug.
Look on an acura parts site under the engine block section.
You may find it in the FSM under engine overhaul or similar.
Or yank the thermostat out.

Burning Brakes
The plugs that are displayed on the online parts diagrams seem to be tapered thread and I don't want to mess with that.
There is a sealing bolt with a washer between the block and trans but it can't be accessed.
I replaced the coolant in my TSX two weeks ago and I just drained and filled 2 times.
There's no need to drain/fill twice if water pump and/or thermostat is changed but my car is not due for that.
Also, there is no place to bleed air (like some older Honda engines) that I can find on car or in service manual like you stated.
My inquiry was based on perhaps you had found a bleed procedure in the service manual and also you found a drain plug with a seal washer.

red coolant is typically toyota/lexus coolant..

or they just used water and somehow transmission fluid leaked into the reservoir.
