Vigor parts = 2.5 TL's

Legend parts = 3.2 TL's

Keep in mind that these are NOT guaranteed. There however similarities, so double check before you blow 500 bucks

I know that is true of engines Ken, but suspension and stuff too? I would think aside from spring rates that for the most part the suspensions on 3.2's and 2.5's are pretty much the same no? (And I could be entirely wrong here, just asking!)

The 3.2 and 2.5's have complete different suspension systems. Heck, EVERYTHING from the windshield forward in terms of mechanical parts is different.

So if I want to get a strut bar for my 3.2, I can get one that works on a Legend?

Yeah it should fit, but you have to remove the engine cover to use it. I dont think thats too much of a sacrifice though.

Wow, didn't know that. I just figured the springs were always different because of the different weights of the car. Good to know!!!!

Yeah... the rear suspensions are completely different as well. The 3.2 is biased for a more smooth ride (VERY smooth in fact). So there is a bit of body roll BUT... it still is fun to drive and has excellent steering feedback.

The 2.5 is more Honda-like, less body roll but severe bumps definitely hit you in the tush a bit more.

the suspension on the 2.5's resemble the 90-97 accord suspension. I noticed a lot of similarities when my friends uncle came to visit. I checked out his 2.5tl and it looked close enough. I haven't had a chance to check the details on the parts though. it just visually looked like the bolts would line up.

the 3.2's i haven't been able to find a match yet. The car that i thought was the closest would be the legend and I plan to check out my friends when he gets his new shocks. He just hates the fact that my tl rides soo smooth compared to his car

so all i know is that both the 3.2 tl and legend can share the same intake and the same struts, but how about the suspentions like the shocks and swat bars?

Anyone know what a swat bar is!? Isn't that a police weapon!? :P Just buggin longeye, I don't even know the answer, but based on what I've been hearing there is a good chance a legend SWAY bar will work, although I know Legend springs won't work in our cars, so I don't know.

I doubt a legend sway bar will work. Both engine bays are nearly identical so thats why the strut bar will work but the removal of the engine cover is required. The intake works because these are both C32 engines. the sway bar is a different story because the entire suspension is different. a sway bar attaches to the axles. and im pretty sure the legend suspension is completely different and i hope to find out if im wrong or right pretty soon. I'm just waiting for when my friend to get new shocks so i have an excuse to tear apart his suspension on his legend.

if you guys want, you guys can contact Addco for their rear anti-sway bars. I doubt they have them, but if there are enough people interested (i'm not talking 15 people or so), then they will consider it. Since there are no bars for the TL, Addco will have to make it from scratch.
