NO START FIXED 1998 2.5tl
Just bought a 1998 2.5tl for $275 on 4/18/16, it had a no start problem.
It had been at 2 dealers & a few repair shop lady was tired of dumping cash into it.
It acted like it wanted to run but would only sputter when starting.
After a an hour or so of cking for problems i started thinking the upper converter may be clogged.
I backed off the bolts of the exhaust manifold about 1/4 inch & tryed to start it. It started up & ran fine.
Hopes this helps you.

Didn't know Acura/Honda had a auto trans disaster.
This is my first dealings with this line of autos.
Was a chevy V8 5.7L man before the fuel got to $4 gal then i started buying VW 2.0L.
My preference has always been a manual trans currently driving a vw GTI, vr6 with a 6 speed manual trans they are fun to drive.
