Red face Newbie questions. Help please.

I recently bought a use 1996 Acura TL (which I think I overpaid. 1000$) with over 225,000 miles, No A/C, a leaking Radiator, bad CV Joints (axles) diver and passenger sides, what sounds like a leaking exhaust manifold but don't really know(it just sounds really loud under the hood), and a I think a slipping transmission (because when driving it shift really slow and won't go into final gear on major roads. Sometimes I have to let off the gas for it to shift on the lower gears and when I punch it, the car only down shift and revs but no acceleration). I've heard this is a reliable car. I've changed out the CV Joints. New air filter and fuel filter. About to change the oil. I'm worried about the transmission the most. I don't have the funds for a new one. I bought a new A/C heater blower but am reluctant to take the whole car apart to change it. Could it be something else? If the exhaust manifold is leaking can it be fixed? I know a new one is expensive. I'm so stupid for paying that much for this car lol! Any answers are much appreciated. Thanks!!

Did you test drive the car before you bought it?
