WOW.. i normally spend most of my time in the 2nd gen area but this is amazing
the t3/t4 is ancient.. but deadly!!! I have had a chance to play with the civic with a b16 and a t3/t4 with an fmic and that thing was UNBELIEVABLY fast... i can only imagine what yours is like...

what kind of boose are you running and have you had a chance to be on a dyno yet?

Hmmm...that's kinda weird, unless I am wrong. Isn't the turbo usually forcing the air directly into the manifold, instead of a pipe leading to the manifold? I am fairly novice when it comes to turbos, so I may be wrong..

nah. if that were the case you would have to have pipeing from the exhaust go up to the turbo attached to the manifold and then some more piping to bring the exhaust back down to the cat and out through the muffler. that would just be too much piping. itd be easier to just have the turbo by the exhaust and have a pipe on the intake side of the turbo goto the intake manifold. (or in his case to a fmic and then to the manifold.)

Boost-N-TL: ahh i see couldnt see where it was in that other picture cause of the weird angle. anyways very nice. im guessing no BOV?

the BOV is right below the intake sensor, it's a greedy BOV and sounds very nice!

S L I C K...someone has finally proven that performance CAN be extracted out of the 2.5tl.

How did u get the soft blue lighting around the instrument cluster. All u would need are red lit needles to give it that VW instrument panel look (or 04Tl instrument cluster for that matter,)

Nice, job Boostntl, keep up the good work, but make sure you preserve the luxury identity of the TL at the same time!

u can put a intake, exhaust, and turbo in ti the 3.2l engine but the turbo has to be custom and it will cost g's. i have a 3.2l with a injen intake and custom exhuast system next big step will be a turbo that has to be made custom that will cost me about $3,500.. that 2.5l that boost-n-tl has to be custom made, u can tell by the pipeing

well the intake is by injen is a new line that came out for the 3.2 acura legend, acura legend and acura tl share the same engine. the exhuast tip is by bomz w/ a 2 1/2 tip, the cat back wich is the pipeing was custom made. i bought the exhuast tip w/ a quit tip where it makes no noise, but somtime i remove that becouse it does loose performance weapon- r all so makes a intake for our 3.2 tl. they sell they intake with wcco or without wcco. wcco means traction control.

Good points Longeye.

When looking for intakes on the 3.2 TL's, you're better off looking under 91-95 Legends. As mentioned make sure you know if you have Traction Control or not, as the intakes are slightly different.

the cost for the acura legend injen intake is about $150 and weapon-r is about the same i did forgot how much i paid, somtimes u can find the weapon-r intake in ebay. the exhuast tip is also find in ebay diffrent name brands. but the custom exhuast system(cat back)u have to go where thay make custom exhuast pipeing, i payed about $100

wow... custom pipes for your TL was only $100? I thought it would have been way more. Do those pipes and that new muffler boost yor ride at all.. noticeably i mean?

I think I have seen this TL on Honda-tech. I called the shop I believe Nu Image about the setup if its the same car. I wish Boostntl would give us all some more info and reply to his thread. When I talked to the shop earlier this year they told me it was like a 7K setup since it was all custom fabricated. Ran 14s in the 1/4, had bad traction problems far as still spinning in 2nd, and needed to switch torque converters. I hope he reappears!! I'm thinking of getting a 93 Vigor 5 speed for 1K and doing something like this on the vigor or my own 2.5!!
