Question Gloss coat is peeling.

my TL 3.2 has a few spots on the body where the gloss coat is decideing to peel, and other than that the paint is still in really really good condition. it makes me sad to see the spots that are peeing, so i need some advise or suggestions on what i could use to fix it.. or would the best bet be go with what my husband said and strip the gloss coat and re-do it? He works 40-60 hrs a week, so im steppin up to baby my Acura since he baby's his 91 Honda ef hatch i bought him for Valentines day lol, i just need suggestions from you experts, please!! Much appreciated!!

That, and id like to do some minor modifications to my headlights (i wana black them out) along with the entire car. rim suggestions, grill suggestions, etc. keep in mind my baby is completely stock.. except for modifications under the hood (thinking about a venom system soon)

let me know some feedback guys, thanks!!

Unhappy Update; apologies

So, ill apologize for not properly introducing myself as a new member to Acurazine. Im still learning about the good and the bad about my TL. Im slowly working on a lot of upcoming upgrades, but having to learn about everything in the process. obviously, you experienced should know that new learners who are starting from the ground up in my case, take a minute to catch on. I know a little about things under the hood and hope to become more "in-tune" with my car by the end of my project. I hope to hear some good feedback and responses to my questions or suggestions i am looking for. sooner or later, i will be able to add pics and things of what my TL looks like , so again, any help or suggestions would be much appreciated for a new learner!!

firstly! please don't mess with the font! secondly, post this info in the wash and wax section of the forum. also, post some pics because it's hard to tell anything without taking a peek at it.

sorry my baby is a little dirty, had some bad weather yesterday and i had to work today, but washing her tomorrow, but hopefully this will explain why it makes me sad to see this happening. i dont want it to happen all over the place so a temporary fix will do for now untill i decide what color to paint it or do a re-paint of black

otherwise, this is what she looks like on a good day

Don't put the pinstripe back when you re-paint it!

I'm dealing with the same issue, only on the rear driver's quarter panel area. It's been washed and waxed so much and on the silver isn't noticeable unless you're up close. It's also easier and cheaper for me, I bought a new rear bumper skirt and only need to work on the area above and on top of door line. Not any products I know of to help, only a repaint-someday.
