Food for Thought- 18x9.5 +12 fitment

Alright, so all my 96 2.5 owners know the struggle of finding us some nice wheels with our 4 lug pattern. There are plenty out there for 17s but I personally like how the 18s fill out the car. My question is for all you who have mounted wide wheels like this, what was your experience with the fitment it looks pretty tight in the rear. Am I crazy to think about doing 18x9.5 +12 possibly on Tein springs/ FF Type 1s? Just wanted some feed back.

^ Lol nice illustration. My 96 2.5 has a 5 lug pattern so I'm not included in this, haha.
