cold window rattle
well it's getting cold here in WI and we recently just had a blizzard and i noticed that when i got in my car and started to drive away, the window started to rattle. it was more obvious on the highway but it was just a constant "brrrrrrrrr" coming from the door panel/window and when i would press hard on the glass it would stop the rattling. it never did this in the summer or even fall but i was wondering if anyone else has this problem when it gets really cold out. if so, anyone know how to fix it?

I get the same problem, but mine can happen in any weather, depending on the road i'm driving on. It's more of a "creek"-ing that happens sporadicly. you might have a problem with your window since it seems to be pretty bad.

im assuming that the window is completely closed since it is in cold weather... but this only seems to happen when i have the window partially open...
you may have to open up the door and see if the felt that cushions the door is damaged... or maybe it isn't sitting correctly on the track...

eh, we'll see. actually this is the first winter i've had the car so i dont know about other past years but it's definitely always been quiet up until now. it's not extremely loud either, just a little rumble. i also noticed that it goes away once the car is heated up for awhile. hmm...

I am here in Colorado and on really cold windows my windows rattle too. I assume its because the rubber seams around the windows contract or become stiff in the extreme cold weather. They stop rattling when the weather warms up a little. Looks to be a design issue with the frameless doors !!

It happened to mine as well, I replaced all the rubber trim. No more wind noise, no more rattles.

All 4 windows.
If I remember correctly, you cant buy it per window. Its one big piece for the driver and passenger sides.
