Leaking trans?
Like the title says, it looks like my transmission is leaking. Maybe it's the differential. I really can't tell, what I'm wondering is if anyone has a diagram or anything so I could possibly locate the leak. It's a lighter color fluid, not oil. Doesn't look like power steering, but seems to be coming from that area. It's been a slow leak because none of the fluids are low. But I still don't like it leaking especially since my car just turned 102k miles. It's an 04

Acura/Honda transmission fluid is generally a translucent rose/red/peach color if thats of any help in identification. Its possible that you could have a bad transmission seal or gasket, or something much more serious, Its hard to tell from the information provided

Need more info on if it is oil thats actually leaking i know you say its not- if it is in fact then its more than likely coming from the rear main oil seal which is common for them to leak after some time due to age, if its not a big amount leaking then i suggest switching over to high mileage 10w30 oil and the problem will go away. If its not oil and it seems like more of a watery base then it could possibly be antifreeze. Due to the cars mileage and if it was maintained or not i cant see major problems happening but i can be very wrong.

Sorry for the vague description, upon further inspection it looks like it is leaking from behind the engine. Its not oil. It smells like burning rubber. im really thinking its the diff. So i sprayed the underside completely off. to me it actually looks like its leaking where the diff meets the transmission. are these leaks common?
The car came with all maintenance receipts it got all recommended services at Honda until 60k miles then went to another mechanic until 88k when i got the car.
