When ever i accelerate, i get the sound of sloshing water behind my dash. It goes away after driving for a while. I dont get any water inside, but i think the evaporator drain plug might be clogged. I went under my car earlier and i pulled leaves out of a hole, but i dont know it thats the drain hole. Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it? Also the cabin airfilter, does anyone know a place where i can pick one up for cheap, i called pepboys and they wanted like $80. Working at jewel, thats about half of my check so i kinda want to find one for cheap, but i dont want a pos filter. Thanks!

Sound like you have air bubbles in the coolant upper hose. In this case, your temp gauge will up and down slightly when you are driving. You need to bleed the air bubbles by unscrewing a bleed screw located at the end of the upper hose to the engine side.

are there any markings on the hose or is it a certain color? thanks

You can see the bleed screw if you take the engine cover off. It is also written on the owner's manual. Just look up the basic maintenance chapter.

To completely bleed the air bubbles in the upper hose, you need to open the bleed screw and then add more coolant into the radiator filler. Some coolant will flush out of the bleed screw but continue it until no air bubble comes out of the bleed screw. This must be done whenever you change coolant.

FYI: Put a towel underneath the bleed screw so that it absorbs the flushed coolant.
