Do you have a link to that eBay page? maybe I overlooked it some how.

and as for the HFP wheels... i'm not too sure about those... the Civic option wheels correct, i think 7 spoke ones?

Well, it's been too long but the car finally got tinted.

sad it took this long, but it was a nice change that needed to happen!

Very nice, I wish I would have picked up those TL rims from a flooded TL in a yard near where I live. They had all 4 with brand new Michelin's on them for $80

Sigh....

lol

I'm on the fence whether I want to use the Lamin-x. I have an issue where every time I wash my car I get moisture into the headlight so it looks horrible. And I don't want to be driving around with the crappy looking one-headlight-foggy-and-yellow-fog-lights car.....

Yeah, we have local vinyl wrapper here in St. Louis and he had the material to wrap the fogs and we had fun with it.

I'm also curious to see what the car would look like in a different color now.

Hey, nice job on the RL! It's all pretty tasteful stuff, although I am not sure on how low it's riding. I think mine sits a little lower than it did when it was new, not because I lowered it, but because I think the springs are starting to get tired and they're beginning to give a little. Still rides like a dream though! Roof spoiler would look good on yours (I think)!

I've never really been a fan of those roof spoilers... but i'll look into them again just to see more.

Took the car to Acura this weekend, clean bill of health for the most part. The Rack and Pinion is leaking so hopefully that will get fixed immediately.

Bought new brakes and a new axle since the passenger's side has a torn boot and that won't due. At least everything is under a lifetime warranty.

And sadly... but happily... the K-sports might have run their course. The rear passenger's side is failing and leaking... Time to upgrade.

Autozone has lifetime warranty on their parts... since I used to own a '96 3.5RL... majority of the parts are the same, so both axles are covered already from before and so are a few more parts on the car of course.

Upgraded all the brake pads as well so now i won't have as much brake dust and having clean my wheels as much.

Hi, what do you guys think about the Rack and Pinion at Autozone? They are running around 500$ which is expensive and I dont know if it has lifetime warranty or not. Mine is leaking pretty bad now and I have to fill up every four days I went to several junk yards and no RL which is sad lol.

When you find an RL at a junkyard, usually there's almost nothing left I found....

Not entirely true about the RL's being picked over...

One of the better finds i've come across in the junk yard...

I did my front end conversion on my old '96 RL with this and the interior was mint too...

as for the Rack and Pinion at Autozone, i heard they work well, but are expensive. I went ahead and got the Lucas Oil Rack and Pinion Stop Leak... so far it is working great. Not bad for $12 to help fix / prevent a $500 repair.

On the west coast, there are not a whole lot of RLs around. Very few for sale online.

All of the RL's in my area in Oregon are owned by retired folks. They tend to buy a car and keep it 20 years.

"Lucas Oil Rack and Pinion Stop Leak." Are you sure about this? How long did you put in your car and how many bottle? I've heard several horror stories about this stuff cause a big mess for your steering pump. Anyway, I've saved enough for a rack and pinion replacement and a coilover. Hopefully my car will pass the emission test in October, if not then I think I'll get a TSX lol

I put in 1/2 a bottle and no leaks at all. Drives and steers fine so far too... and that was last week.

here in St. Louis / Kansas City area, we have several RLs from accidents online for sale... I guess I'm in a good area for them.

So is the leak stop completely? I planning to add this stuff, I got tired of adding new fluid every 4 days lol. How much of the old fluid did you remove base on the marking on the reservoir (between the low and high) in order to add 1/2 bottle of Lucas? Thx.

It had leaked out enough to fill it up again and i decided to install it then instead of the replacement Honda fluid... it's been working well so far.

I don't remember exactly where the line was though. sorry.

new tires, new axles, no more leaking Rack & Pinion, now shopping for new suspension and camber kits.

I bought some "cheap eBay" front camber kit, and installed them a few months ago and they are already shot. So, time to upgrade as well.

Also time for a new hood and front bumper and i think it's time to rid myself of the Honda Legend grill. Anyone interested?
