Thanks guys, I really like the way it turned out. The two different grey's aren't very noticeable.

No biggie, I thought it was getting better as the ECU starting learning the new motor, but it just got worse a couple days ago.

I'd love to, but I'd need to swap air bags. If the parts turn up for cheap, I'm jumping on it.

My steering wheel was trash, got an RSX one for real cheap w/airbag, and no it wasn't stolen lol.

Today i paid my insurance for the CL, even though I'm not driving it currently . Too much of a hassle to unregister and reregister it, rather just pay the insurance payment. Plus I don't want those new, hideous NY plates

Hey guys I'm new to the forum!

I actually just completed a manual swap on my '98 2.3. The only thing I have left to do is get the IACV switched to a 2 wire with the blacktrax adapter. I have to say that it is much more fun to drive as a 5spd!

I just did the transmission right now because the auto tranny was giving out. The F23 still runs good so I will keep that for a while but I know I'll probably end up swapping in an H22 or H23A Blue top sometime next year.

By the way I would have never finished the manual swap without the tech info on this site so thank you guys.

Picked up some bolts and washers at Fastenal and then removed some the negative camber from the rear wheels. I went with 4 washers per bolt, but might go back and add 1 more.

Anyway...

Installed my bro's old 1000W Kicker Amp he had back in the day along with a 1000W Sub. It ain't anything special, but it sure hits harder than before.

Took about 3 hrs to install, but all the cables are in stealth mode.

I did nothing to the car today, however I did figure out how to use the lumbar adjustment on the drivers seat. I finally opened the owners manual and actually read some of it. I always thought my lumbar was broken. Did you know that little black plate in the top/center of the dash is the temp sensor for the automatic climate control? ...or that the drivers side tail light has an electrical harness for a trailer?

Crazy.

^ Haha, I actually took off the drivers side tail light cover off the other day, and right on the harness, it says a little warning about hooking up to a trailer or something. I was like wtf, who's gonna do that with their CL?

I wish I had an owners manual...

hey blazin, how do you do the lumbar? is it that little knob thing on the right side of the seatback? i have a knob there, but the lever for it fell off and i cant manage to get to stay back on.

i also didnt know about the temp sensor, i thought that was a security thing or something. and kyanite, i remember when i first joined some guy with a CL in ontario used his CL to tow a snowmobile. it was actually pretty cool.

It works differently than I had expected. There are 6 different settings according to the owners manual. The default position of the lever is vertical. If the lumbar is "off", every time you move the lever forward until it stops, that adds 1 level of firmness. Each time you do it, you can feel it more and more. After the 6th setting, it goes back to zero or "off".

I thought it was like the lumbar in the parents old '00 Galant, which had 3 settings and the lever would lock into position as you turned it. The CL's lever always flips back to vertical every time you add a level of firmness.
