Recharging AC
Anyone recharge the AC on their CL's on there own? Do I have to take it in to a shop or is there a kit I can buy to do it myself?

Re: Re: Recharging AC
I would recommend that you take it to a shop, they would check it for leaks before filling. In NYC that would cost about 80 bucks. I had it checked and I had a hole in my condensor. [/QUOTE]
I agree. Recharging in not a maintance item. Freon doesn't dissapear or get worn down. If you need to recharge, you have a leak somewhere. It should be checked out by an experienced mechanic. Freon can be dangerous to work with.
