Hello,
My daughter rear-ended a truck last week in her '98 CL 3.0 and after getting the estimate today ($3900) I have to figure out what I am going to do. The body shop has stripped the front down and is essencially ready to be put back together. My question is, if I am fairly mechanically inclined will it be within reason to believe I can put this thing back together up to the point I need the hood and bumper painted and put back on? Needs radiator and support(s), lights, etc. I guess I would need a diagram to ensure I don't miss anything.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Well, that depends on a lot of things, mostly...... you.
You can only know if you are capable of such things.

I believe the rad support needs welded in, I could be wrong though...

Thanks for the link, that really helps. Am I correct in assuming for the most part I can pull body parts from any '97-99 model and they will fit? Guessing the 2.2 may have a different radiator. I have found a 97 and a 99 at a upullit lot a couple of hours from me and may go this weekend.

Correct, 97-99 are the same body/chassis, however the 2.2/3 and 3.0 have different radiators and subframes
