I have 97 CL 2.2 automatice. Lately i cant shift out of park and i have to stick my key into the shift lock release and put it into neutral and start my engine again. Anybody else had this problem and how do i fix it?? Thanks

the solenoid that pushes that release arm when you push the brake might have died, or the wirring is loose for it. Turn the key on, to the run position without the car running (so you can hear better), push on the brake and listen for the solenoid, you can usually hear the "click" it makes when its working.
