F22B1/F23A1 valve cover interchangable?
It's been asked a ton, but after searching for a while I couldn't find any definate answer. Can I use the F22B1 valve cover on an F23A1? These are both the VTEC F2x's btw. They look exactly the same...anyway, if anybody knows or sees a thread that has an answer, I'd appreciate it Thanks, and no pressure, but I kinda need to know in a day or two, hopefully.

I'm doing them myself, I'll show you some when I'm done =) They really arn't that hard from what I've heard (especially if you're just wanting a plain color). Anybody know if they're interchangable yet?

vht wrinkle - comes in red or black - that's what i did! If you're gonna go diy just be sure to finish it properly with a straight file to the letters.

I heard that some people tape off the letters, put some Vaseline on the letters only, remove the tape slowly and spray the cover. Then just wipe the Vaseline off and you dont need to sand down the letters...
A friend of mine did it to his teggy and it came out pretty well...

theyre should be no difference between the 2 valve covers, just make sure the spark plugs still go in properly and line up right. shouldnt be a problem unless you wanted to swap heads.
the valve cover is really easy to do yourself, and while your at it you can change all the seals to the valve cover too. just remove the spark plug wires and like 8 bolts and the valve cover comes right off. lots of sanding and airplane cleaner later you come out with this:
