even the search takes to long now... H22 axle question

what axle are you guys using for the swap? accord? prelude? cl? I'd just want to know what's best. I'm sure the prelude axle doesn't match up, but just in case. thanks in advance

of course the prelude axles work. they are tougher than the accords axles.

Prelude. Like Insyone said. They are thicker and they do match up. I have Prelude axles on my car.

Swap is simple. ECU hook up might be a lil of a prob depending on the set up but over all its fairly easy. Driver's side mount (prelude) needs to be shaved a bit and welding required by downpipe.

Man fuck all that. use the stock cl axle for the passenger side and get the half shaft and drivers side axle from a 94-97 accord. The half shaft bolts right to the block and the splines match up with the prelude tranny. no welding cutting or anything like that. PLus.....the prelude axles are slightly longer than the accords/cl so over time they will wear out quicker and bo more prone to bind in a turn.

oh and don't get too excited about using prelude axles. they aren't much different than the accord ones. Hell you cant even tell the difference between them visibly except the reverse spline pattern.

OE should hold up fine unless you're making a lotta torque.

Drive Shaft Shop has level 1 axles rated to 250hp for 400$ a lil pricey though..
