Seat moves back on exit

Nope! Some cars adjust the steering wheel, other adjust the seat, other both(?), and some none. Usually no control setting.
We are all immersed in the technology world of computers and apps that have configuration settings that can be fined tuned to out liking. The ability of cars to offer this is from an era of about 10 years ago, with virtually no upgrade capability. This is good news and bad news. We want to flexibility but also need it to be hack proof.

Are you sure Acura doesn't have this as a customizable setting? I know there are a bunch of settings which can be customized on the TLX.

In some Lexus cars, you have the ability (configurable in the NAVI screen) to move the seat backwards all the way or move it back only halfway for those of us like myself that are short! Or maybe you have a rear facing carseat behind you and can't move the seat all the way back.

That was one of the first things I changed when I got the car. The back-and-forth was annoying -- especially since I'm the only one driving the car.
I'm looking at the latest PDF version of the owner's manual. It's on page 131. I believe I used the thumbwheel to get to "Driving Position Setup" and then turned "Seat Position Movement At Entry/Exit" to "Off".

Should be. Yes. Updated versions of the manuals are on owners.acura.com (assuming you don't already have the updated version). You should register on there if you haven't already. You can order free hard copies of the manuals on there, as well.

The only difference between you guys and my car is I've got a V6 and Advance trim. I think both of you have the I4/Tech, correct? But I can't imagine it'd be set to "on" on any trim with no way to turn it off. In the manual I thought it said it's not available on all models. Hmm...

I just double checked in my I4 Tech. The option definitely is there, but only if you set it via the steering wheel / MID combo. It is not available to set via the Settings menu on the center stack.
This leads me to believe that it can be set based on remote rather than globally (which apparently is what the center stack menus do).

There is the following blurb in the manual, but I'm not sure if this is affecting any of you :
You cannot have Vehicle Settings displayed on the
multi-information display while the audio/
information screen shows the same menu.

Some software engineer changed the feature and did not inform the documentation specialist.
The Seat Position Movement At Entry/Exit is available from the right selector wheel on the steering wheel setting as described on P127, but the same setting as described on P131 is missing when accessed from Settings.
Also missing from both places is the Keyless Access Beep Volume.
So we either need a correction to the manual (easy to do) or a update to the software in the car (unlikely to happen).

For some reason I overlooked the fact that you can access and change some settings from the right thumbwheel on the steering wheel. A little confusing as to why they went that direction but I've got it figured out now.

That is good to hear. Glad you figured it out. You guys are beta testing for me By the time I get mine, you guys should have sorted out a lot of bugs

After sitting in the back seat of several TLX's at two dealers, if I were a dealer,I would definitely turn this feature OFF. With the front seat back, the rear seat seems quite cramped.
If they wanted to demonstrate the feature, they could get the key fob and explain the process. would be a nice feature for some folks.
