I think I will go with those when I need replacements - my current (stock) tires are the Potenzas that come on the 3.5L V6 P-AWS 18". I wonder how much more fun the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ will be? I gather that the Potenzas that came on my car are better than the Goodyears that come on some other TLXs?

I had the LS2s on my old 14 Accord Sport. Awful tires in terms of handling, not to mention a vibration issue that was never remedied right up to the day some dimwit totaled it. The main reason why I didn’t go with the base SH-AWD were those tires. (....and I really didn’t feel like swapping out for a new set.)

Do you guys think sealing off the filter portion off from the rest of the engine will help with not sucking as much hot air from the engine with this setup? Kind thinking of fabricating something with clear Plexiglass.

Given pretty much every TL/TLX in at least the last 20 years came from the factory with a cold air intake, I assume you are talking about some sort of an aftermarket hot air intake. Yes, no?

I’m talking about the Takeda intake that op and unfortunately I have installed. I jumped the gun and ordered it before doing any research.

I didn't pick up on the OP installing a Takeda; was that stated anywhere in this thread?

Regardless, if I was in your shoes I'd put the factory intake back on and sell the Takeda; this will do two things for you; 1) put some money back in your wallet, and 2) increase your resale value which will put more money back in your wallet when you sell the car.
