General question
Hi and I’m sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I have a 18 tlx aspec elite and the sunroof visor has a hole in it. Acura is willing to replace it but need to take out the front windshield the pillars to get the headliner out first and the visor. Has anyone done anything like this? I’m concerned since they say it can cause water leaks and squeaks since it was taken apart. I hate seeing light on the black roof and that’s why I want this done. seems like Acura’s reliability has been crap for a while now.
thanks

I think they should only be removing the interior trim pieces so I wouldn't anticipate any water leaks, but it's possible you could get a squeak, rattle or the like. You could just put something in to fill/cover the hole from the sunroof side which would block the light...

Agreed and that is what we are trying to do..... except it’s impossible to reach in between the sunroof /glass we are currently trying to do that. I thought the same thing not moving any major parts....they said they would have to to get the headliner out.
thanks.
thanks.
