:: Excelerate Performance :: Jared's 2018 TLX A-Spec

Hey Acurazine,

We've been busy in the winter months but wanted to share some work we recently wrapped up!

Jared came to us because he wanted his TLX to stand out from the rest.

With his set of custom made aero running from the front bumper to the rear valance, he knew to take the look to the next level – the lower level to be exact!

We installed an Eibach Pro-Kit on his 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec AWD (offering a little over 1 1/4″ of drop) along with their Pro-Alignment kit to help keep it planted.

A set of H&R spacers were installed in all 4-corners to help fill out the fenders and clear some new brakes! The front called for 15MM and the rear called for 20MM.

We also installed a fresh Rotora big brake kit consisting of a 6 piston front caliper, and a smaller 4 piston rear caliper, along with a fully functional electronic e-brake!

This helped add some serious stopping power and really make his TLX stand out.

We wrapped up the BBK install by flushing in some fresh Motul brake fluid!

Feel free to send us a PM or an email if you are looking to get your car setup!

We hope to see this TLX again soon for an exhaust and wheels...

Happy modding!

Nah. The only thing to make the TLX better at this point would be a manual transmission. My car would be dreamy with a manual...

Did anyone ever try slapping the CT blower on a TLX?

why?? the CT kit is inefficient and will add WEIGHT and HEAT, both which are detrimental to or the opposite of what makes you go quicker....

They still sold a decent number of them, and they are still faster than stock

The main downside was the bang for the buck ratio, but given the lack of options...

Anyone know if there is a specific Rotora Kit/bracket combo - or were the brackets custom made? I haven't been able to find anything yet. It's unfortunate that Acura didn't include Brembos on Aspecs by default

Did the factory wheel studs have to be replaced with longer ones to accomodate the spacers/factory aspec wheels?
