So I was reading details on the TLX the other day, and the people at honda said that the V6 model will have a maximum of 290 hp. Now keep in mind that this 15 hp down from the current SH -AWD TL and they mention nothing about the SH AWD TLX having more horsepower than the FWD model so I'm guessing that tops it for both models. Now I understand that Honda is a company known for. Producing fuel efficient cars and SUVs, but I think dropping back in horse power is a big mistake when competitors such as the infiniti q50 and cadillac cts are pushing well above 300 horsepower and are basically dominating this segment of the market along with the German automakers. So how do you guys feel about a drop in horsepower for the tlx? Is it a deal breaker or deal maker?

It's a lighter car than the outgoing model. So in terms of real world application it will have better performance numbers. It's like the megapixel race for cameras, after a certain megapixel it just is just for gimmicks.

Hopefully it means they are leaving a bit more headroom at the top end for a future Type S version :P
